All in the base!Always apply an eyeshadow base/primer on your eyelids. The benefits of doing so is that your eyeshadow will last longer, the eyeshadow looks more pigmented(stronger color) and most importantly, it helps those with oily skin who always face the problem of eyeshadow creasing!
Line it right!Eyeliner is useful for creating the illusion of bigger eyes. Line the entire top lash line and line the bottom eyelash line, making it thicker at the outer corners. As you go inwards, make sure the line gets thinner or you don't need to line at all.
Brighter Eyes!For small eyes, line the eye with a white pencil on the inner lower lash line. This gives the impression of larger and brighter eyes.
Blend, blend,blend!Blending is important when applying eyeshadow. One shade should look like its nicely blended into the next shade. Blend every application step so colors have no hard edges. This ensures a soft, blended finish. Invest in a blending brush to do this.
The fresh look!A dot of white shadow or pencil on the inside of the eye near the tear duct will make eyes look brighter and gives you a fresh look.
